Wandflow works like a walkie-talkie: hold a key, say a short command, release. Everything below takes under a minute to learn.

The loop

Hold, speak, release.

01

Hold Right Command

Press and hold the key like a walkie-talkie. Wandflow starts listening while it is down. Right Command is the default; you can change it in settings.

02

Say your command

Short and plain. Name a setup, arrange your windows, or change something about the system. Every core command is recognised on your Mac.

03

Release

Let go of the key and your Mac obeys. Anything that moved your windows can be undone in one step from the receipt card that appears.

Setups

Save a workspace. Restore it with a word.

A setup remembers a whole working world: which apps are open, where every window sits, which pages were in the browser, and the scene around it — volume, brightness, light or dark. Arrange things the way you like them, save the setup, give it a name you would actually say out loud.

Later, hold the key and say that name. The apps launch, the windows land in their saved spots and come to the front, and the scene applies. A receipt card offers Put it back for one-step undo and Close the rest if you want a clean desk.

Free includes three saved setups. Everything else — window commands, system commands, unlimited voice commands — has no cap.

First run

Two permissions, and what happens without them.

Wandflow needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later on an Apple silicon Mac. Open the DMG, drag Wandflow to Applications, launch it, and macOS will ask for the two permissions below. You can grant them later from System Settings › Privacy & Security.

Microphone

Required. Wandflow only listens while you hold the key, and the audio is recognised on your Mac. System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone › Wandflow.

Accessibility

This is what lets Wandflow move and place windows. System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility › Wandflow. After granting it, quit and reopen the app so macOS hands over the new permission.

Skipping Accessibility

You can say no. Wandflow still launches apps, reopens browser pages and applies the scene — it just won't place windows. Turn it on any time and window commands start working immediately.

Pro and support

Signing in, and getting a real reply.

If you have Pro

Sign in inside the app using the email address on your Polar receipt. Pro unlocks after sign-in — not at the moment of payment. Once it is on your Mac, it keeps working offline.

If something is wrong

Email support@wandflow.app. It reaches the person who makes the app. Include your macOS version and what you said when it went wrong.

Learn it in one command.

Hold the key, say a word, release. Download it and the whole vocabulary takes about five minutes to learn.
